Parkopilot app and this website, hereinafter together referred to as “services”, is owned and operated by Davit Dopidze, hereinafter “we” or “us”, a natural person, acting as a sole controller with respect to all personal data processing activities associated with the services. The services were developed with privacy in mind and all processing of personal data takes place in compliance with such applicable statutory requirements as that of General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679, hereinafter “GDPR”.
This privacy notice details how personal data is collected, used and protected. For the purposes of this notice, personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.
Data Collection, Usage and Legal Bases
We collect and process personal data when you use the services. Personal data processed include the following:
- Parking filters used (e.g. date & time, free/paid, duration).
- If you communicate with us (e.g. via email) data on the communication as well as its content.
- Such information about your device as operating system and IP address.
The above-mentioned personal data is collected for the following purposes:
- To provide services to you.
- To ensure the safety and security of our users and our services including the prevention and investigation of unauthorized access/use and enforcing end user license agreements.
- To measure and analyze the usage of services in order to understand how it is used and to make improvements to the services.
- To ensure uninterrupted operations and troubleshooting.
- To respond to your inquiries, suggestions and/or comments.
- To share personal data with a government authority in order to comply with its legal request, to prevent abuse or malicious use of services and to protect the controller’s rights and property.
In processing the above-mentioned data for the above-mentioned purposes, we rely on one of the legal basis below:
- Legitimate interests pursued by the controller: provision of the services, ensuring the safety and security of users and the services, understanding the usage and improving the services, ensuring uninterrupted operations of the services, communication with users, prevention of abuse or malicious use of services, protection of controller’s rights and property as well as establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims.
- Compliance with a legal obligation to which the controller is subject.
Recipients of Data
The only recipients of your personal data are the few data processors that process personal data on our behalf. These processors include hosting providers and email communication services. In the unlikely event that we suspect illegal activities against our users, services, or the controller, we may notify law enforcement authorities.
International Data Transfers
We do not intend to transfer personal data to any third country outside EEA. However, should any international transfer take place, it will utilize transfer tools listed in Chapter V of GDPR including adequacy decisions and such appropriate safeguards as standard contractual clauses. Data Retention
Some of the personal data will shortly after collection be anonymized in a manner that will not permit the identification of data subjects, other data elements will be erased once they are no longer needed for the purposes for which the personal data are processed.
Data Subject Rights
Under GDPR, you have the following data subject rights: the right of access, the right to rectification or erasure of personal data, the right to restriction of processing and the right to data portability.
In addition, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data. In such a scenario, we will cease processing your personal data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms.

Additional Information
Automated decision-making, including profiling, does not take place. While the usage of the services requires processing personal data, there is no contractual or statutory obligation for you to provide your personal data.
